Now then, a short time ago
"Please Stay With Me" was broadcast on School Of Lock.

今日は、昨日に引き続き、
YUIのインタビューでの言葉を 参考に
O,Aされたばかりの
アルバ ムM8収録 『Please Stay With Me』の
楽曲解説をします！
Today, continuing what began yesterday,
from our interview with YUI
we will be explaining the tune of
"Please Stay With Me", the just-on-air

こ の曲は、ストレートに
一緒に居たいという想いを歌にしました。
This tune, with its straightforward title,
is about wanting to be together in song.

い つも言葉にしてい ると

It's such that always in words you know
and that thought before you know it,
in reality come to an end.

音数をなるべく少なくでも特徴をつけたいと思いました。
There are actually a lot of sounds and little singing,
but we thought we wanted to add this trait.

I wasnt expecting such a reaction, I was surprised.
As one would expect from Black Thunder right?

今日（正確には昨日ですね。。）は、2年ぶり のテレビ収録（MUSIC JAPAN）に行ってきましたよ！
Today (or yesterday, technically speaking) I went to a recording (MUSIC JAPAN) after 2 years!

何だか久 しぶりで不思議な感じもしつつ、無事に終える事が出来ました。
After a long time I felt this misterious sensation, but it all ended whitout problems.

メンバーは、 MUSIC VIDEOで一緒だったクリスチャンと、いつものメンバーのバッキーさんでしたよ！
I was toghether with (band) bember in the music video, Christian, and the usual member Backy!

で はでは、明日も頑張っていきましょう！

YUI です。
This is YUI.

5月にもなって、GWです。
心機一転な感じですかね？
It’s now Golden Week in May.
It’s a sense of attitude change, isn’t it?

天気も良かったりもするので、散歩や自転車に乗りたいな～とか思いつつ、スタジオにて着々と順調にレコーディングをしていますよ！
Since the weather has been good, I want to walk and ride my bicycle ~ among
other things, in the studio recording has been going steadily and favourably !

そんな中、HPがリニューアルされました！
イッシーありがとう！
Such as, the homepage has been renewed !

皆さん、リニューアルへのコメントもありがとうございます！！
色合いがまた違った感じで新鮮な感じですね？

そして、「めざましテレビ」にもお邪魔させて頂き、夏フェス「HIGHER GROUND2010」への出演も決定しました！

And, I had the privilege of appearing on “Mezamashi Terebi”,
And I was chosen to perform at Summer Fes. “HIGHER GROUND 2010″ !
Arigatou gozaimasu ! !

初めて出演のイベントは、ワクワクしますね！
ぜひ夏を、フィスを楽しんでいきましょう！
It’s the first performance of the event, I’ll be trembling !
Certainly Summer Fes will be fun !

そして、そんな中(2回目!?)新しいヘッドホンを買いました！
スタジオによってヘッドホンが違って音が全然違うので、
統一したいなぁと思いつつ、聴き比べてみたいなぁと電気屋さんに行ってきましたよ。
Also, for the 2nd(?) time I bought new headphones !
In the studio the sound of the headphones is not different at all,
to keep it the same, I compared them myself like an electric appliance store person. <<<>

自分専用のレコーディング用、持ち歩けるヘッドホン！！(深夜の通販番組みたいですね。笑)
My own personal recording-use headphones ! ! (from like a late-night mail-order program. laugh)

買ったのはいいけど、忘れないようにしないと。。な！
I was considering buying it but wasn’t sure about forgetting or not !

という事で、長くなりましたが
楽しんでいきましょう！！
So with that, it hasn’t been a long time but,
let’s enjoy ourselves ! !

明日からは、G.Wですね！
みなさん、どのように過ごされるのでしょうか？
Tomorrow begins Gold Week !
Everyone, how are you going to spend it?
最近、お天気がぐずつきがちですが、晴れると良いですね。
てるてる坊主（最近めっきり見ない気がしますが…）なんて作ってみるのもいいかもしれませんね！？
It was raining off and on, but recently the weather has cleared up nicely.
Teru Teru Bouzu* (although remarkably you don’t see them nowadays…) it might be nice to make some! ?
さてさて、
5/5からは、『to Mother』着うた配信と、
着々とみなさんの元に『to Mother』の届く日が近づいてます！
Now then,
“to Mother” chaku-uta distribution begins on May 5th,
and steadily approaching, everyone is going to have “to Mother” by their side !

バランスボール？

皆さん、こんにちは。
YUIです。



楽しく過ごしていますか？



私は、雑誌の取材やレコーディングの日々を過ごしていますよ。



そんな中、レコーディングの日に夕食に行こうという事になり
雨だから前から行きたいと思っていた
『餃子の王将』に行けるんじゃないか！と行ってみたら…



行けてしまいました！

　
王将クリアです！



詳しくは、近藤ひさしさんのドクツボに載っていると思うので(笑)
ぜひ、気になった方は覗いてみて下さいね！






それからいつもお世話になっている
ヘアメイクのヨウジさんに、髪をカットして頂いている時に、
何気なくハサミを見ていたら…


見たことのない持ち方だなぁと思って

　

聞いてみたら教えてくれましたよ！








いつもカットして頂いているのに、気付かなかったのが不思議ですが。。。



私は、普段ハサミを使う時は
人差し指と中指と親指を、トッテに入れる使い方なのですが
プロのヨウジさんは薬指と親指をトッテに入れて
人差し指と中指を上から添えて、固定するのだそうです。



(持ち方には個人差がありますね。ちなみにイッチィ☆は
中指と親指をトッテに入れて、人差し指を添える、でした。)



この持ち方が基本になるそうです！
　

すごいですね！

難しかったですよ。




あと、最近良く聴いているCDを。
Eric Hutchinson『Sound Like This』
このアルバムは雰囲気も曲も全部好きなのですが、
特に7曲目『All Over Now』は、何回も聴いてしまいます。
　

ぜひぜひ、気が向いたら！






最後に、今日もレコーディングをしているのですが、
ナオキスイーツさんからスイーツの差し入れを頂きましたよ！
　

シュークリームかなと思いきや、クロワッサンだそうです。
美味しかったなぁ！シバチャン、ありがとう！

Hello everyone!
Otsukaresamade sweets!

昨日、ほんと〜に久々の
雑誌の撮影をしてきましたよ。
Yesterday, after a loooooong time
we went to a photoshoot for a magazine.

久しぶりに会う方などもいて
現場には嬉しそうな声が弾んでいました。
at the scene(at that place) a happy-sounding voice sprang forth
it was from a person not seen in a long time.

撮影中は自然光がとてもきれいに入る室内で
YUIはゆったりとリラックスしていましたよ。
In the photoshoot, there was a beautiful natural light entering the room
YUI was comfortable and relaxed.
